RFinder has worked with the DMR network Brandmeister to create new usability enhancements. The new dashboard just released includes coverage maps generated by RFinder using CloudRF technology created by Alex M6ZUJ…
These maps get generated in real-time as BrandMeister repeaters get added to the system and Sysops add coordinate information to their repeater listings.
RFinder now includes a daily data feed from BrandMeister. This includes repeaters and talkgroups. DMR machines are now categorized in RFinder by the network they are on…ie DMR/BM and DMR/MARC, etc. RFinder’s apps on Android and iOS and web.rfinder.net/routes.rfinder.net now are the easiest way to find BrandMeister machines worldwide.
RFinder’s new Android DMR Radios (http://androiddmr.com) take advantage of BrandMeister technologies by providing a point an click real-time programming function in the RFinder Android Radio H1. Grote drukte vandaag op de stand van HamDigitaal in de Americahal in Apeldoorn. De gehele dag door was het een komen en gaan van radioamateurs die hun apparatuur wilde laten upgraden. Ook lijkt de dag voor de radioamateur zich steeds meer te gaan ontwikkelen in de richting van een “sociaal event” Het gehele team aanwezig op de stand heeft een ieder goed te woord gestaan en vele vragen werden beantwoord. Een woord van dank aan het team bestaande uit. Rudy PD0ZRY, Yentel ON3YH, William PE1BMM, Mischa PA1OKZ, Joost PE1RMN, Martijn PD2NLX, Paul PE1RJV, Edwin PD2EBH, Roeland PA3MET, Simon PA9TV, Guus PE1PLM, Ruud PE1MZS en David PA7LIM. Op de dag van de Radio Amateur waren Roeland, PA3MET, Simon, PA9TV en Tom, PD2TMS aanwezig op de stand van HamDigitaal om een ieder die dit wilde te assisteren bij het installeren van de experimentele firmware. Speciaal voor dit doel is ook een flyer gemaakt waarin de features van de experimentele software staan beschreven. De flyer kan je hier downloaden!
Het MD380 firmware team zal op de dag voor de Radio Amateur flyers uitdelen op de stand van HamDigitaal.nl waarin de features van de speciale DvdRA release van deze firmware wordt uitgelegd.
BrandMeister zal ook worden uitgebreid met een aantal dashboard upgrades die op de stand te zien zullen zijn. Tevens spreekt Guus PE1PLM op Twitter van een sneakpreview. Iets met UMP? Wellicht wordt hier morgen ook meer over duidelijk. Hieronder de gepubliceerde previews! Tot morgen!
