David, PA7LIM de schrijver van de Android software BlueDV heeft een Windows versie gemaakt. BlueDV voor Windows installeer je eenvoudig op je Windows PC. Deze moet minimaal beschikken over Windows 7 of hoger. Verder heb je nodig een DVMEGA en een Bluestack en een DMR transceiver. Je download de software, plug je DVMEGA met Bluestack in een USB poort (met het rode knopje ingedrukt) en kijk in apparataatbeheer welke compoort wordt gebruikt. Start vervolgens de BlueDV voor Windows software. Gaan naar setup en voor je call, frequentie etc. in.. Klik op Connect en het werkt!
Vanavond wordt er evenals vorige week een wereldwijd net gehouden om 18.00 uur CET op TalkGroep 91. Vanavond is er zoals je kunt zien in onderstaand bericht geen verbinding met het DMR-MARC netwerk. Indien u in de gelegenheid bent graag even in-melden. Veel plezier met deze wereldwijde ronde.
Hello All: The Worldwide Net will continue this Saturday on Talk Group 91 on the BrandMeister Network. This Net will start at 9:00AM PST. The inter-tie between the “other” network and BrandMeister that was made last week will NOT be active for this weeks WW Net. Dick Decker, K6SUU will take check-ins just like he did last week. I have been told that Talk Group 91 will be made an Always On Talk Group for the WW Net. This is being done based on the requests made from the outcome of last weeks Worldwide Net. Op het internet trof ik een filmpje aan van een DVMEGA en Raspberry Pi2 op zonne-energie. Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van een 15 watt flexibel zonnepanel. De zon moet natuurlijk wel schijnen!
Vanavond om 21.00 uur is er weer een uitzending van PI4AA de verenigingszender van de VERON. In deze uitzending zijn er diverse interviews en opnames te horen van de HamRadio 2016 in Friedrichshafen waaronder een opname met Rudy, PD0ZRY over BrandMeister. Luisteren dus!
QRG, PI4AA is te horen op de volgende frequenties:
•40 meter: 7073 kHz ±QRM
•2 meter: 145,325 MHz
•70 centimeter: 430,125 MHz (via de PI2NOS repeater)
Na de uitzending is er op de PI2NOS repeater en op 40 meter een inmeldronde. Op 2 meter is er geen ronde.

Ondanks negatieve geluiden en niet werkende apparatuur op de Hamradio 2016 is onderstaand filmpje opgedoken. Robert, WB4DHC heeft dit gepubliceerd met deze tekst:
The Austrian Amateur Radio Society showed their radio that will become a DMR/Analog/DStar HT. Yes it is large and it isn’t doing DStar yet. It is in development like all the other radios. Right now it is a DMR/Analog radio that is combined with a full Android 5.1 smart phone capability. Wifi(2.4 and 5 Ghz), Bluetooth, NFC as well as dual SIM LTE/G2/G3 and possibly CDMA. Front and rear cameras.
The radio is programmable from the screen without the need for any external software. I saw this done so can vouch for it. Long term the config will be updated via an XML file loaded onto the device via USB/NFC/BT/WiFI or via a webpage. Gone is the super secret binary codeplug enjoyed by the DMR type systems in the past. No vendor lock-in regarding that. This means that if someone wanted to use an external program (maybe to manage channel lists for multiple and different radios) it could be done and share all of the common setting items (channels, contacts lists, CCS7 #, Call Sign and so on). I don’t think such a program exists but am sure someone will develop it.
The link is to a demo of a real time on the air QSO. The audio sounded better in person. There was a lot of noise around on the show floor.
The radio is currently DMR and Analog only and 70 cm. This will change as the development continues. A work in progress for sure. Was nice to see it working
I met some very energetic young amateurs who are anything but amateur, they conduct themselves as professionals. They are enthusiastic about the product and committed to the development of an open source developer community. Challenges are ahead for sure. They are actively working on the task list even right in the middle of the show floor.
Now there is some good competition to get to more flexible and feature rich radios. We, the buyers, will have options as this and CS7000 are developed. Each radio will have it’s special features. That is ok. No device needs to have “everything but the kitchen sink”.
